Branding was first used as a method to distinguish one person’s cattle from another by the use of a unique symbol burned into the animal’s skin with a branding iron. It’s still basically the same thing, except for the fact that there are too many sheep and you need to step up to distinguish your brand. This can be done through creating a statement logo, having a diverse color palette and by using media templates.

Being unique is one thing, next comes, keeping up with that uniqueness. Now that you have stood out, you must create a lasting impression. This means continuously presenting the best version of your brand to your customers and giving it a 100% when it comes to brand communication.

How does good brand communication come into play? By keeping it simple!
What apps do you prefer to use? What book are you more likely to read? And which kind of shops or stores would you want to walk into?
The answer to all is obvious. The app which is easy to use, a book that you can easily comprehend: a shop or store with a clean display where you can easily pick out exactly what you need. With so much noise in the world around us, we are inclined towards the easier and faster things. How can you achieve this and ensure good communication? The answer is simple, simplicity.

 

4. “Keep your heels, head, and standards high”- Coco Chanel

One dominating characteristic that screams, and really says a lot about your personal brand is the pictures you use. We are instantly attracted to pictures with a balance between negative and positive space. You do not need to use models necessarily, rather just use high-quality pictures that are taken with grace. It may bite a little more from your pocket, but it’s definitely worth the effort.

 

5. “Fashion Changes, Style Endures”- Coco Chanel

Loyalty is a major component in measuring a brand’s worth. How do you get here? There are various means like exceeding expectations, not neglect existing customers, being transparent, and creating a sense of community. If you can achieve gaining a customer’s satisfaction, and their loyalty, you have achieved a knighthood in branding. Chanel, Zara are good examples displaying brand loyalty by customers.

 

6. “Success is often achieved by those who don’t know failure is inevitable.” – Coco Chanel

Most importantly, never give up. Do not accept failure and keep working hard. It is the key to branding and everything else in life.
